Register Android SDK to system Environment(OPTIONAL STEP but RECOMMENDED)

CAUTION: Important Notice Before Download and Install Offline

BE CAREFUL WHEN DOWNLOADING ALL THESE PACKAGES AT THE SAME TIME!


Starting from this update you will notice that there are some packages that have same base name.

These Packages below has the same base package name "armeabi-v7a":

• Android TV ARM EABI v7a System Image
• Android Wear ARM EABI v7a System Image
• Google APIs ARM EABI v7a System Image

These Packages below has the same base package name "x86":

• Android TV Intel x86 Atom System Image
• Android Wear Intel x86 System Image

These package Below has the same base package name "x86_64":

• Intel x86 Atom_64 System Image
• Google APIs Intel x86 Atom_64 System Image

These package Below has the same base package name "x86":

• Intel x86 Atom System Image
• Google APIs Intel x86 Atom System Image

Actually, certain packages can have the same base name+same revision number resulting into naming conflict when downloading the files. For instance in older release of this SDK Update , both Android TV Intel x86 Atom System Image and Android Wear Intel x86 System Image has the same base name and revision x86-23-r05.


FORTUNATELY , even though the base package name is identical , Google Server will turns those conflicting name automatically for you by adding and underscore "_" into one of these packages.


THE PROBLEM IS ON YOU: you have to be careful whenever you downloading all the packages in the same time you'll be likely think that the underscore added by Google Server on the same packages will behaves like a duplicate download as most download managers like IDM will automatically add an "_" underscore when same file name with the same extensions are being downloaded.


However in this case they ARE NOT DUPLICATE download , so if you have some packages being renamed with an underscore "_" addition , LET IT BE because they are valid packages. While fortunately download managers are clever enough to distinguish the server response , the users might not be careful enough (because they are doing something else while downloading). And when the download has finished , user found packages with the same base package name with an "_" , he/she might think that it is a duplicate download so he/she delete it. In fact its NOT a duplicate download.

However , the offline installation process is just the same as we described in : "How to Install Android SDK Offline?" (video and tuts)

my tip about Files with SAME NAME TO PACKAGES DIFFERENTS in new versions 7,8 Android or another

Example:

Google API XXX = x86_25.zip
Google Intel Atom x86 = x86_25.zip

Then 2 packages have same name (example), then when doing the download

1, download 1st and rename to name full
example: x86_25_GoogleAPIxxxx.zip

2, now download 2nd file and rename it
example: x86_25_GoogleIntelAtom.zip

So, they dont will be replaced by other

Now, when you go to install, INSTALL ONE BY TIME ... BEFORE COPY TO "TEMP" FOLDER ANDROID SDK WITH "ORIGINAL NAME" and install it

example
x86_25_GoogleAPIxxxx.zip SHOULD BE x86_25.zip again

Now, repite for all files with same name.

Just some new files have same name. if you need download it
