Asesino - Corridos De Muerte (2002)

BNR Metal Pages Review: Asesino is the "solo" project of the guitarist of the same name, Asesino's main band being the notorious Mexican death metal band Brujeria. And, of course, Asesino is really Dino Cazares, formerly of Fear Factory. Asesino, like Brujeria, is death metal sung in Spanish, but the two bands do have different styles, as Asesino is more focused on old-school death metal, with more precise rapid-fire riffing and drumming, and in general is faster than the more grungy death of Brujeria. Though the lineup has changed (Herrera is no longer present here), Asesino is a continuing band.
