Dexster - это многофункциональный звуковой редактор, который поддерживает большое число популярных сегодня аудио-форматов: WAV (ADPCM, GSM, DSP и др.), MP2 (MPEG 1/2 Layer-2), MP3 (MPEG 1/2 Layer-3), VOX (Dialogic ADPCM), WMA (Windows Media Audio 9), RAW audio (PCM, A-LAW, U-LAW), MPC (MusicPack), AVI (звуковая дорожка), Ogg Vorbis (Version 1.0), G.721, G.723, G.726, AIFF и AU (аудиоформат для UNIX). В процессе редактирования, на исходный материал можно накладывать различные эффекты - Flanger, Invert, Normalize, Phaser, Reverb, Reverse, Silence, Stretch, Trim, Vibrato, Delay, Envelope, Equalizer и другие. Кроме того, программа позволяет использовать звуковые фильтры и производить запись с микрофона или любого внешнего устройства
