Ligno3D Designer v3.40
Ligno3D Designer is a simple CAD program that is fast, easy to learn and fun to use. Initially aimed at wood-workers, but now used by many others, it specializes in the design of faceted 3D objects with few right angles — objects such as polyhedra, decorations, geodesic domes, sculptures, unusual furniture, weird houses, gem and crystal models (see Gallery). It also does spiral stairs, caskets, coffins, tents, balloons, tanks and boats — almost any faceted object
Ligno3D Designer is 'inverse CAD' without the steep learning curve. You work directly in a 3D perspective environment with solid objects that are rapidly panned, rotated and zoomed. Create, move, clone, subdivide and delete vertices and faces with consummate ease and precision. Boost your creative talents enormously by bringing to bear a variety of symmetry elements.
Having designed your object in 3D, you can view or print 'unwrapped' 2D plans of all faces at the click of a button. The plans show exact edge and diagonal dimensions, inter-edge and dihedral angles, and all vertex and adjacent face numbers. 3D images can be printed or saved, and DXF files exported.
