Описание: это патч, который трансформирует графический интерфейс XP и Windows Server 2003 в интерфейс, похожий на Windows Longhorn, т.е. изменяет окно загрузки, некоторые диалоговые окна и т.п., добавляет стили оформления интерфейса, заставку и обои и т.д.
Longhorn нам еще 2 года ждать, а оформление виндов XP можно поменять на логхорновское уже сейчас. Весит этот патч 20.8Mb.

А на хрена он такой нужен? Поставил я его, побаловался. Запустил Windows Update и прочитал, что для моей версии(!?) Windows обновлений нет - вообще никаких!

Тогда ОЙ, или поройся он должен был переименовать файлы, переименуешь все обратно, соответственно жить будет легче. Если лень искать поставь ещё раз через систем механик, он ведёт протокол установки.

An almost brand new transforming system that never existed before, this version supports all XP and 2003 clients. This means you can use this software perfectly on every Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 client, doesnt matter if its beta or alpha build. Furthermore, you can rollback your system files to obtain new updates from Windows Update and reinstall it so you don't need to use Batchmod or wait for the author to make new updates. Ставил под sp2 в безопасном режиме.... Вроде полет нормальный... )
