The Peddlers were a jazzy vocal trio operating in London in the late sixties and early seventies. I have a copy of their 2 CD set called How Cool is Cool? which isn't too bad at all. I got a copy of their track This Strange Affair from somewhere that wasn't on that compilation. I loved this track and I was determined to find the album it came from called Suite London. Well I scored a copy of the album and here it is. There is some surface noise on the recording but as this record isn't available on CD as far as I'm aware this is the best version of this album I can find. If you like vocal pop at all I think you'll love this album.

This was the only Peddlers album to be entirely made up of Roy Phillips compositions and was an ambitious project recorded with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Underneath the assorted strings and timpani was a nice set of new songs making up the last album to feature the three original members of the group.
