WebPod Studio™ is software to produce audio and video PodCasts. This program is designed to help both new and experienced computer users to create, gather content and produce quality audio and video broadcasting over the Internet.
In addition, user-designed broadcasts can be uploaded to existing servers and archived on those servers, or burned onto CD or DVD discs.
Various output options are available for transcripts and other materials to be produced for the broadcasts and to establish connectivity to the world of Rich Site Summary (RSS) and Blogging. All features are there to help you create podcasts.
The integrated Studio director assists the novice user in selecting the correct feature for what the user wishes to accomplish in that session while ensuring that the user will see the appropriate wizard on start-up. It is this technology that makes WebPod Studio so easy to work with. All actions are done in small gradual steps, asking simple and direct questions through either ticking options or pull-down menus. Virtually all options are pre-selected based on available hardware and anticipated needs. This will help you create podcasts fast and efficiently. Designed around the тАЬless is moreтАЭ philosophy, WebPod Studio will extract all the needed information in very few steps, yet will still harness the full power of available audio and video capabilities.

*Interface is localization enabled. WebPod Studio can be localized into any language. (Additional translations coming soon.) The localization unit can handle Unicode based languages such as Chinese and Japanese. The current release supports English (US), English (UK), German, Spanish, French and Dutch.
* Recording of "traditional" audio PodCast.
* Recording of audio/video.
* Itunes RSS support. WebPod studio is capable of reading and writing Itunes compatible RSS feeds.
* PowerPoint Import Wizard: WebPod Studio can import PowerPoint slides and create a video PodCast out of the imported data.
* Audio Tuner wizard. You can now select mixer channels yourself or you can let WebPod Studio automatically scan for the proper settings. Who said audio was difficult?
* Podcast Teleprompter to aid in recording your Podcasts. (Horizontal and vertical scrolling prompter.) The prompter may be run in transparent and non-transparent mode. In transparent mode you can "overlay" the prompter over your video preview feed.
* Auto injection into your RSS feed or creation of a new feed dedicated to your Podcast/WebPod Studio supports RSS, ATOM, and RDF. For podcasts RSS is recommended.
* Auto detection of video and audio devices.
* Easy to work with and easy to configure! Most features are auto-detected for you!
* Drag and drop support in the composer wizard. You can drag and drop files from the windows explorer directly into the composer wizard.
* Optimized output for every occasion from 28k8 up to 1.5MB broadband media. Also included is optimized output for PDA's (150kpbs and 225kbps).
* Preview option before compiling the stream.
* Retro-style VU-Meter in audio recordings that displays modulation during recording.
* Feed & Podcast Publisher. Automatically publishes your podcasts and feeds.
* Interoperability with Skype.
* RSS Management wizard. Allows you to view local and internet feeds. Add, delete, and edit feeds with built-in WysiWyg editor.
* Screen Capture wizard. Capture desktop and/or running applications.
