Для тех, кто знает и пользуется Google Earth и NASA World Wind - есть ещё одна оболочка из этого класса, хотя, на мой взгляд более слабая:

WW2D is designed to dynamically download needed data from internet, however you can manually download data you want for faster access and offline usage.
WW2D is based on Java and OpenGL technologies and runs on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux (x86 and amd64) and Solaris platforms.
In addition to Earth there are also other worlds that can be explored in WW2D such as Moon and Mars.

Virtual GPS is a GPS simulator software. You can use it to simulate a GPS receiver unit connected to your system. It's ideal when you need GPS input, but you have no signal or for development purposes. It supports various NMEA sentences, so it can be used with any GPS mapping software. It operates in two modes: simulator mode and file mode. In simulator mode the latitude and longitude coordinates are periodically incremented with a defined step. In file mode the GPS data is loaded from a text file which contains NMEA sentences.
The GPS data is transmitted periodically to a serial port. To get the output of the simulator, you can use a null-modem cable which interconnects two physical serial ports or you can use one of the virtual serial port software from the market, which simulate two interconnected serial ports like: Virtual Null Modem, Virtual Serial Port Driver, Virtual Serial Port Kit and others.

Не знаю, сам только ее поставил, но все руки не доходят глянуть. Слету только столкнулся только с тем, что рабочие наборы от версии 3 она не открывает - нужна конвертация.

Говорят она объединенная с ВОркстейшен? Судя по размеру. А русский модуль есть? Извините за наглость.

Синсталированная занимает полтора гига, но это вроде следствие внедренных в нее дополнений. Думаю, можно про это почитать на официальном сайте. На счет воркстэйшен - не знаю, что в нее входит. А руссификации в образе нет, и я ее вообще не встречал.

Полагаю, что отличия будут столь минимальны, что никто их не заметит. Думаю, что там "где нашел, что это за версия" об этом писали )))

Скачал аркгис9.2, поставил. Нормально работает. Только теперь нужны Воркстейшен, СДЕ и сервер этой же версии. Никто не видел.
