XG WarCat 5.12 released

WarAnakin has released another driver, the XG WarCat 5.12
Supposed to be better than the stock Catalyst 5.12 with higher image quality and faster frame rates.
Works on All ATI cards from the 9xx0 cards and up

For The people who hate the CCC, this driver also uses the CP! Sadly incompatible with the X1800 cards because of that, but thems the breaks.

-Better IQ;
-Improves the framerate stability;
-Added new resolutions;
-Improves performance in applications that use intense lightning;
-Improves performance in applications that support bump mapping;
-Vertex shader optimisations for better performance;
-Smooth gameplay;
-My beta testers told me that this set improves lighting and fog effects in games like King Kong;
-Adaptive Anti-Aliasing support. *This technology is supported by the Radeon 9xx0 series and higher*

Catalyst 5.13 represents the countless hours needed to understand the problems associated with deinterlacing and image enhancement as well as the time spent generating novel solutions.

PCI Latency Tool
We decided to include this handy tool so you could adjust the PCI latency in order to avoid PCI bus choking. It helps optimize performance and resolve stuttering and sound issues. It's recommended to set latency values to 64 for all your PCI/AGP Devices. This tool doesnt support PCI Express cards.

Installation
Please, uninstall your previous driver before proceeding with this Installation. Please use the ATI Catalyst Uninstall Utility in order to Uninstall your current driver.

Ultra Edition
The Ultra Edition is optimized for cards with 256Mb or more. It uses the ram in a more effective way in order to produce higher performance. It also may be used with 128Mb cards but don't expect the same level of performance gain.

Standard Edition
The Standard Edition is recommended for All Radeon cards. This edition is especially recommended for those users that can't use the Ultra Edition

Новая версия классического драйверпака Extreme ATi в своём Рождественском издании стала доступна с этой минуты. Несколько слов о том, что же несёт в себе нового эта версия. Начиная с этой версии, и надеюсь все последующие, в драйверпаках Extreme будет поддержка софтмодов 9500-9700-9800. Теперь, для смены пропатченного файла на простой вам необходимо просто перезагрузиться, заранее выбрав в Акселераторе софтмод соответсвующий вашей карте. Так же, в этой версии добавлена поддержка всей линейки x1900, а так же чипсетов RS600 и RS600M. Помимо этого, существенно пополнился список более старых карт. Это первая ласточка из Рождественской линейки Extreme, за ней последует версия для Win'x64, далее GT издание под Win2k/XP и приватная версия для бета испытателей завершит линейку ExtremeDrivers в 2005 году.
