Я тоже таких глюков не замечал. Скорее все дело в Aspi.

Таких гдюков тоже не замечал, но частенько бывает глюк, из-за которого НЕ НАВИЖУ эту прогу. открываю существующий образ, чет удаляю, чет доюавляю, жму сохранить..... так это долбанная прога делает бэкап какойто, потом сохраняет (довольно долговато это происходит) и размер образа увеличивается раза в 2!

и было пару раз, при таких операциях весь образ нафиг летел, т.е. каталог файлов есть, а чтото запустить - фиг!

Вобщем оа глючная какаято.

Жаль, что такие проблемы (неверное распознавание загрузочных образов) существуют только у меня, т. к. не у кого спросить. Сначала я думал, что дело в Винде, но я уже неоднократно её переставлял (хотя эта стоит у меня ещё с августа 2004), и в каждом случае в новом Windows программа UltraIso неверно распознавала образы. Я тоже сначала подумал, что дело в ASPI-драйвере, поэтому зашёл на сайт Adaptec и скачал последнюю версию ASPI оттуда, установил её, но ничего не изменилось: все программы, кроме UltraIso, нормально видят загрузочные образы. Тогда я подумал, что, возможно, UltraIso конфликтует с подобными ей программами. Тогда я удалил IsoBuster, MagicIso и саму UltraIso из системы, перезагрузился, почистил реестр и временные файлы, затем снова установил UltraIso и на всякий случай снова перезагрузился. Но при открытии нескольких загрузочных iso-образов в каждом случае программа, увы, всё равно видела их как незагрузочные (в том, что они действительно загрузочные, я не сомневаюсь, т. к. я все их проверил в VirtualPC, а один из них даже прожёг). Такая вот чертовщина. Ну, ладно. Всё равно большое спасибо всем, кто прочёл моё сообщение и ответил на него. Если же что-то выяснится, то буду весьма благодарен, если кто-нибудь подскажет, что же мне делать.

MAKCDOOM, к сожалению помочь не иогу - редко использую подобные программы. У меня просто всё по папкам раскидано, а загрузочный сектор отдельно вставляю.
Но есть идея. Можно проверить дело в тебе или в программе. Сделай маленькмй загрузочный ISO, такой чтобы у тебя программа его не определяла как загрузочный и закинь, например, на webfileю Я скачаю и проверю у себя. Если и у меня будет глюк - значит действительно дело в программе.

Кстати, вполне возможно, что некоторые загрузочные сектора не распознаются.

Пожалуйся в тех.поддержку, пусть исправляют . Если дело в программе мы им твою исошку пошлём.

UltraIso

Тоже проблемма с этой программой. Открываю в ней образ загрузочного диска, добавляю, или удаляю какие нибудь программки, не связанные
с загрузочным модулем, сохраняю образ. Лью на болванку, а она уже не загрузочная.
Теперь пользуюсь WinIso, с ней все в порядке.
