Ron Korb with Hiroki Sakaguchi - Japanese Mysteries



Ron Korb is, without a doubt, a master flute player. Originally from Canada, Ron spent more than a year in the land of his grandparents as he felt compelled to learn more about the culture of his ancestors. This CD is largely a result of the time he spent in that land.

While Ron plays the bamboo flute, shinobue, misatobue, ryuteki, flute and keyboards on Japanese Mysteries, he is joined by several other musicians. Most notable is Hiroki Sakaguchi, a composer who created his first composition at the young age of 11! He joins Ron on the keyboard. Whereas six of the 13 tracks are attributed to Ron and two are traditional pieces, Sakaguchi composed the remaining five.

Rounding out the musicians is Tani Senzan (shakuhachi), Tanaka Yoko (koto, shamisen), Ryuhei Kobayashi (classical guitar), Akira Mori (steel string guitar), Hiroshi Ogawa (bass) and Takeshi Ishikawa (taiko, hira daiko and percussion). ~Wil Owen

В звучании "Flightpath" много специфических "самолетных" звуков, разнообразных акустических эффектов. За этой работой в 1990 году последовал совсем другой по стилистике и настроению, очень романтический альбом "Tingri". Его чувственная, сентиментальная музыка переносит слушателя в загадочный Тибет. При этом она отличается особенной чистотой и строгостью мелодического рисунка. В промежутке между выходом нескольких специфических "Планетарных хроник", в звучании которых уже всецело властвовал беспредельный Космос.

Earl Klugh - The Best Of Earl Klugh, Vol. 1

Привет, форумчане.

Хочу предложить попробовать на вкус музыку исполнителя, увы, совсем малоизвестного в нашей стране. Даже в её столице, в "музыкальном центре" всех времён и народов "Горбушка" - только один человек смог ответить, что он этого исполнителя знает, но его музыки в наличии нет. Хотя, надеюсь, что вы всё-таки слышали это имя. Ну а если нет - то вам повезло вдвойне: вас ждет час действительно потрясающей музыки. Стиль, в котором работает Earl Klugh - симбиоз между new age и smooth jazz. Ближе всего по смыслу можно отнести один из моих любимых коллективов - Acoustic Alchemy. Так что если этот звук для вас не пустое сотрясение воздуха - можете не читать всю нижеизложенную информацию, а смело качать и слушать. :)
Главный инструмент, вокруг которого строятся практически все композиции - это гитара, но в отличие от того же Govi или Armik (при всем моём глубоком уважении почтении к этим исполнителям) гитары не слишком много и после прослушивания очередной композиции не кажется, что ты эту вещь где-то уже слышал в другом альбоме. Тут каждая композиция завёрнута в офигительную аранжировочную оболочку и оригинальна сама по себе. Потрясающие джазовые музыкальные ходы, очень качественная (в большинстве случаев) запись сделали эту музыку для меня настоящей находкой ушедшего года.

От себя особо хочу отметить следующие треки:
Heart Strings - потрясяющая гармонично-раскачивающая композиция с красивым соляком, милой квакушкой в качестве ритм-аккомпонента и электрическим фортепьяно - которое во второй части композиции просто начинает безбашенно приджаззовывать :cool:

Livin' Inside Your Love Не так-то много музыки существует, способной вышибить у меня слезу. Этой композиции это удалось. Воистину потрясающая штучка - тут есть всё: красивое джазовое соло, живые ударники (как, впрочем и во всех остальных композициях), обалденный женский бэквокал, который запросто переплюнет любую нашу эстрадную певицу, и скрипки, которые придают музыке неповторимый колорит. В общем, это надо слушать. :eek:

Christina очень красивая лирическая композиция, способная пробудить самые светлые чувства. Главные инструменты - гитара и труба, которые очень изящно дополняют друг друга. Во второй части к ним подключается целый оркестр и оторваться вообще невозможно :)

Wishful Thinking - очень оригинальная мелодичная композиция с красивым мотивом и потрясающей мелодической структурой. Главный инструмент - как обычно гитара, которому теперь аккомпонимирует фортепьяно, как живое, так и электрическое.
