What is your Windows?
What is your computer HOSTID?
Here is tool to determine actual HOSTID (if you don't know how to use ipconfig /all command)

using this tool you will get HOSTID in format xxxxxxxxxxxx, you need to edit it to format xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx

i'm trying to edit my lic file but
no luck
When i tipe "ipconfig/all"in cmd i keep geting this message
"ip config" is not reconized as an internal or externalcomand operable program or batch file

????

Files in HOST_ID.rar are standard flexlm files (lmutil.exe).. It can be found in any original FlexLM package.. They are free from viruses!!
Tune your paranoic antivirus!!

As far as for ipconfig /all command
Not ipconfig/all but ipconfig /all
Can you see space bar before /all ??

So I need your REAL hostid

P.S. Check if you have environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE on you computer and if positive for what license file it points to..

I wonder how you did mistakes in simple text file editing.. Is notepad.exe is more complex than Creo?

For the future: compare my file with edited by you to understand what was wrong..

Извините конечно, но объясните пожалуйста с каких пор форум переехал на ангельскую речь.
Та же проблема, не воспринимает лицензионный файл, через переменную тоже.

Причин может быть всего две
1. При редактировании рыбы лицензии вместо 00-00-00-00-00-00 вбит HOSTID который не соответсвует реальному (к которому пытается привязаться Creo)
ИЛИ
Это же будет иметь место если на компе с уже имеющейся лицензией для Creo имется несколько сетевых карт (включая WIFI) и до M050 Creo принимал существующую лицуху, но установщик Creo 2.0 M050 почему-то пытается привязаться к другой из имеющихся сетевух и предыдущую лицензиб по этой причине считает не валидной или неверного формата

2. При редактированиии рыбы лицензии в нее внесены дополнительные лишние символы (вроде проьелов) или удалены нужны символы

у sarpedaniel88 был вариант #2
у Israr Ullah был вариант #1 ИЛИ (установщик не захотел привязываться к сетевухе которая была прописана в имеющемя файле лицензии для M040 а хотел привязаться к другой сетевухе)

Наверняка у тебя один из этих вариантов
Рекомендую определить HOSTID твоих сетевух (приблудой которую я выложил) и попробовать отредактировать лицуху под каждую из них- одна из имеющихся точно покатит

Порядковый номер сетевой карты можно изменить через реестр.


The inability to find a cpu_id is caused by the order of the network card installation.
To verify that this is the case run "regedit" by selecting the START button, Run, enter "regedit", hit OK. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Microsoft->WindowsNT->Current_version->Network_Cards, double click on "1".

If there is no "1" folder the folder associated with the ethernet card must be renamed so it is first in the list or "1" so that
ptc_d.exe recognizes the correct CPU_ID. For instructions on how to reorder or rename the folder, contact a system
administrator, your hardware vendor or Technical Support.
